We have extensive experience in personal injury matters, accident investigations, scene reconstructions and police report review and interpretation. Calif-Coast Investigative Services enjoys an excellent reputation nationally with area law enforcement agencies and has contacts worldwide to assist in your investigation needs. ** We believe that those accused of crimes are entitled to an adequate defense, therefore CCIS, will conduct defense investigations for those accused of major crimes under limited special circumstances. ** Fees for Investigative Services: In California - $100.00/hr per investigator, plus expenses. Outside California - $100.00/hr per investigator, plus expenses. Mileage - $0.50/mile (We do not bill local mileage within a 20 mile radius from Salinas) Per Diem - $75.00/day - Overnight Investigation plus lodging costs Minimum monthly Retainer - Negotiable (please see 'Fee Schedule') Notice - CCIS, is fully insured and will issue a certificate of liability insurance in the amount of two million dollars to clients requesting one. Fees for Expert Examination and Testimony: Expert examination - $200.00 per hour Court appearance - $1,000.00 for any part of any day in court plus expenses POLICE PRACTICES and PROCEDURES - Report review, constitutionality issues, search and siezure issues, staffing, supervision, officer involved critical incident management - Officer involved shootings. HOMICIDE and VIOLENT DEATH - Causation, investigation methods and techniques, officer qualifications, crime scene management. ARSON INVESTIGATION - Origin and causation - investigative techniques, suspect profiles. FRAUD - Insurance related fraud, medical fraud, billing scams, workers compensations fraud, life and casualty. ACCIDENT SCENE INVESTIGATIONS - Inland waterways investigations, specializing in personal water craft (jet ski) accident investigation and liaison with law enforcement. CCIS, has its own boat to accomodate clients wishing to visit, view and photograph accident scene locations on inland waterways. |
