Fone Finder Enter in any area code and prefix into the following form and it returns the city & state that it's located in AND tells you who the local phone company is. It even tells you if it belongs to a cell phone, beeper or clec company and it's ALWAYS accurate info. Visit their page for even more search options.
dslreports.com CO Finder This is mainly used for figuring out if your area is DSL ready. Enter an area code and prefix and you'll get the physical address of your central office, plus lots of other information such as the CO feature set. Very cool!
US WEST Yellow Pages Look up a business by name, type of business, their address or their telephone number.
The Directory This directory offers a valuable resource. We find the best faciity is the area code/prefix lookup. Select any area code in the United States. The results provide you with a listing of every prefix in that state which tells you exactly what city the exchange is located in.
DataBase America Enter a phone number below in ###-###-#### format and this service will tell you who owns it. Normally this site only retrieves listed numbers.
WhoWhere? Search for residential phone numbers, Business listings and e-mail addresses. Whowhere will also search for home pages, the entire net, others who share your interests and people who use internet phones.

AnyWho.com What makes this one so great is that it lets you pick a street name in any town and list all the residents on that street. This is valuable to us because the researcher can call up the neighbors of the person being sought and make inquiries. You don't have to fill out the first & last name fields, just the address and city will work. Visit their page for more options!
The following anywho form will help you find out where an exchange is located. Simply enter the area code and prefix in the box and press SEARCH. You can use a dash to separate the area code and prefix like this: 618-254.
Yahoo People Search Basic phone directory. Just enter the last name with optional info and it should find their listing if they're listed.
Bigfoot E-mail Lookup E-mail searching site. Enter a name or alias into the form below and it will return a list of matches.
411 This is one of the more popular search directories, used for finding phone numbers and addresses. Just fill out at least a last name below and hope for the best. If you've already used the Yahoo search (above), you'll probably get the same results since Yahoo uses this service. Make sure to only use an abbreviation for the state.

InterNIC Who is the owner of that site? Who owns a particular registered domain name? Enter the domain name into this form, submit it and see the company or person's real name and mailing address along with other useful information such as who's providing them their domain service.
